The £22.5M Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Institute of Technology is located at the heart of the Stafford Borough Council Gateway project, off Castle Street.  This brand new development is set to open in late Spring 2025, ready to welcome new cohorts of learners from September 2025.

Opening in Spring 2025

Our exciting new three-storey central hub facility will offer an innovative and flexible learning environment designed to be reflective of modern workplaces and will give students and employers access to outstanding facilities and equipment, as well as opportunities to collaborate with businesses across multiple sectors on real industry-based projects, to prepare students for work in the science and technology industry.

The new facility will include:

  • A Virtual Reality (VR) Immersive Space.

  • Advanced manufacturing learning factory.

  • Robotics and automation equipment.

  • Industry standard machinery including CNC and 3D modelling and printing equipment.

  • Dedicated electronic engineering workshops to include robotics and automation equipment.

  • Large maker space.

  • Healthcare facility including a mock hospital ward.

  • Built environment and design workshops to include AR/VR technologies, surveying equipment and drones.

  • A variety of classrooms and IT suites.
