Future Skills Ready.

We are the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Institute of Technology (SoTSIoT).  Delivering the very best in technical education, we are one of only 21 Institutes of Technology (IoTs) located across England.

We focus on providing non-traditional routes to higher education for sectors where there are particularly pressing skills challenges – advanced engineering, high value manufacturing, modern methods of construction, digital tech, health and life sciences. We offer a wide range of highly technical university level qualifications, higher apprenticeships and modular / short courses.

Our courses are designed and delivered with local and national employers. This gives students – of all ages and backgrounds – the real-world experience they need to stand out in the job market and provides employers with the reassurance that the training their staff receive can be applied to their business immediately.

Whether you're a learner looking to succeed in a rewarding career, or an employer looking for a flexible way to upskill your workforce, this is the place to start.

A place where the power of transformative education can change lives.  And give everyone the opportunity to thrive and grow.

The future is ready…..are you?

Welcome to the Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Institute of Technology.
